Our Changing Environment
Environmental Recognition
Time after time after time Hambleside’s contribution to the environment has been independently recognised by outside bodies:

BS EN ISO 14001 – Environmental management
Hambleside has obtained this standard which is an international one for environmental management.
The group appreciates that environmental policies are good for business and they can improve customer and public relations. However, it can go much further than that and used correctly they can reduce impact and costs, as Hambleside has demonstrated by the reduction in landfill, the use of recycled materials and energy saving.
Increasingly organisations are taking note of the changing environmental requirements and look to trade with companies who can demonstrate that they are committed to the 14001 standard.
Hambleside is committed to ensuring that its products are made to the highest standards, with the greatest possible consideration given to their impact on the environment, both during production and in service.
The Carbon Trust: which helps business and the public sector cut carbon emissions, and supports the development of low carbon technologies. Hambleside’s Insulator product range achieved Carbon Trust recognition for its thermal performance in 2005. |
